It is already the second time that I have participated in the retreat organized by NALU and it always remains a guarantee. Carolina and Daniele are professional and take care of everything down to the smallest detail, both in yoga and surfing they are both attentive, they make you feel safe and at ease.

I've learned to surf from Dani since I was little and after a break of a few years we went to his own surf school for the first time this year. We had a 1:3 surf lesson with Dani at El Cotillo Beach. Although we all surf at a different level, Dani was able to implement all of our wishes and responded to each one individually. You always have a smile on your face and a lot of fun with Dani. His way of teaching surfing is unique.

Our children and I had our first surfing lessons with Dani 10 years ago. We were really happy that he set up his own Nalu:Mind Body Surf together with Carolina in the same area. The three days of surfing with Dani were simply great! He cares about everyone and we had a lot of fun! With Dani’s help I was able to surf my first green waves this year. Thanks for that Dani! I can't imagine a better surf instructor. He lives and feels surfing. I'm already looking forward to our next surfing lessons with Dani! We were three people (19, 20 and 51 years old). All with different surfing levels.

I had the pleasure of spending three enriching days with head coach Daniele. His extensive knowledge of surfing, including the intricacies of winds, waves, and ocean currents, helped me to develop a deeper understanding of surfing.
Daniele's unwavering support and guidance during practical sessions boosted my confidence and skill level significantly, starting from the the fundamentals of paddling to the take off.

I have been following NALU for several months now, and I have always appreciated their life and work philosophy, which goes beyond a simple surf or yoga lesson. It's about sharing passions, respecting the ocean, and being aware of one's body and mind.

So thank you Dani e Carolina for the beautiful and very insightful experience!

I have been following Daniele and Carolina on Instagram for some time and I have always liked the attention they put into every detail, there is nothing left to chance and their way of doing things demonstrates their professionalism and above all strong human values. I had a surf lesson with Daniele this May. In addition to having an infinite knowledge of the sea, he was also attentive to the psychological and emotional aspect of surfing, encouraging me to observe myself with a gaze not only of criticism, but of valorization. For me it was very important to combine the physical aspect with the mental one. A 360 degree lesson in which I felt safe and in good hands, a unique experience that I will always carry with me. I am happy to confirm that everything they testify orally they also bring into practice, proving to be authentic. I will book another experience with them as soon as possible.

My experience with Nalu was amazing! Not only are both Daniele and Carolina incredibly competent, patient and thorough teachers, but (even more importantly) they are very passionate about what they teach and are very good at conveying this passion - for me this really made the difference. I had an online workshop with Carolina, concerning the science of meditation. Carolina has been great: she has given clear explanations, scientific references and personal insights too. The class has been very complete, and Carolina has been really good at making it easy to follow, without taking away from the complexity of the topic. She also shared a simple and useful guide to meditate guiding yourself. Highly reccomended if you are interested in yoga and meditation, even if you are in the beginning of this journey. Thanks Carolina!

Make 100% sure not to miss Nalu while visiting Fuerteventura!! I mean it: our vacation here has been fantastic and it’s mostly thanks to the activities we did and advice we received from the owners who are incredibly kind people and professionals. I didn’t meet Carolina personally but she gave me a lot of useful tips before arriving to the Island which I greatly appreciated. Today a friend and I had our first ever surf class with Daniele and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We are both 35 years old and, through Daniele’s enthusiasm and professionalism, discovered something we both loved doing! I’m definitely coming back and strongly recommend doing activities with Carolina and Daniele, you won’t regret it.

¡La mejor escuela en Fuerteventura NUNCA! Tuve una lección con Daniele y él inmediatamente me tranquilizó, comenzando desde la playa, con los primeros movimientos y siguiéndome en todos los sentidos. Te sigue en cada ola y debo decir que esto aporta un valor añadido. Tuve una lección anteriormente en estos días siempre sobre surf, nada que ver con la de hoy. Amabilidad, seguridad (y no es para todos, créanme) y PROFESIONALIDAD. Daniele eres legendaria! Muy recomendable. ¡No puedo esperar a volver! Vamos todos Nalu 🏄‍♂️

My partner and I attended a retreat in Sri Lanka in February 2024, and it was one of the most worthwhile experiences of my life - without any exaggeration.

The amount of care & effort put into the organisation of the retreat was clearly on display. Prior to arrival, we were provided with a long PDF, clearly outlining all the information we would need - both in terms of what we should expect from the retreat, logistics on arrival, travel advice around vaccinations/flights and most importantly - the cultural significance of us travelling there. On top of the daily surfing & yoga sessions, there were additional cultural activities organised for us, as well as plenty of free time for us to explore if we wanted to.

A lot of reorganisation and planning also went on (largely unnoticed by us!) always with the aim of the guests having the best experience possible. Both Dani & Carolina were on hand for extra sessions/any support we needed throughout the entire retreat.

The surf sessions were catered to everyone's ability from complete beginner to intermediate, with plenty of instructors to ensure everyone got feedback. I think everyone on the trip made significant progress with their surfing abilities!

The yoga sessions were really approachable for a beginner like myself, and I particularly enjoyed the philosophy sessions behind the yoga. whilst it was definitely information overwhelm, it felt very fitting to be able to appreciate the spiritual side closer to yoga's traditional home.

The group that attended was a fantastic positive group of international people with a variety of backgrounds. We really bonded through the experience - and I will truly look back on the time we spent together with fondness.

Daniele is an amazing surf coach, with excellent teaching skills. In 7 days I could unblock key issues I had been having with my surfing for many years, during daily one-on-one coaching sessions in the sea. The progress was huge, making want me to come back.

Combining surf, dry surfing on the ground and yoga made for a very friendly, professional and complete experience.

I'll go back to Daniele and Carolina to improve my surfing, for sure! Feel free to contact me if you have any question.

I participated in a surf and yoga retreat organized by Nalu. It was amazing. I had a great time, everyone was super professional. They offer surf and yoga courses at a higher level than any other school. in the surf classes with 8 people we were followed by two fantastic instructors. Each lesson is carried out in extreme safety. They convey passion and fun. The yoga teacher is amazing. The whole school follows values of inclusion and respect. I'm really excited. The best in all of Fuerteventura.

En el agua hay gente que te quiere demostrar todo lo que sabe y hay gente que te quiere ayudar de verdad a qué tú sepas algo. Daniele forma parte del segundo grupo. Es todo un profesional que quiere lo que hace o sea enseñarte BIEN el surf. Además parece que conoce cada piedra y ola de la isla y todo eso se transmite en sus clases. Yo recomiendo al 100% reservar una clase privada con él.

Tomé 3 clases de surf 1:1 con Romi y la experiencia fue increíble! Nunca había surfeado y Romi me enseñó todos los conceptos básicos para comprender el mar, sentirse segura encima de la tabla y disfrutar de este maravilloso deporte. Ella es fantástica, muy profesional y encantadora. Las clases fueron super divertidas, sin duda repetiré!
